CHRISTINE SHERWOOD

Christine Sherwood spent many years working in the graphic arts field before turning her focus fully to her own artistic work. Her paintings have since become a space for exploration and quiet observation, shaped by a strong emphasis on experimentation and an evolving visual language. Drawn to light, colour, and the beauty of everyday moments, Christine’s work reflects an ongoing dialogue with the natural world. She is particularly passionate about painting detailed floral subjects—a process she finds both immersive and meditative. Working primarily in oils, she continues to expand and refine her approach through ongoing study and exploration. Christine is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
