OUR STORY
Gallery Background
Kamloops Courthouse Gallery is one of the longest running Artist Cooperatives in British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 2007 by a small group of dedicated artists from the Kamloops area, the Kamloops Courthouse Gallery Society is a non-profit co-operative gallery managed by member artists.
OUR PURPOSE
A Place for Every Medium
At Kamloops Courthouse Gallery, we provide a venue for member artists to exhibit and sell their work while offering the community an opportunity to experience all types of visual art. We currently offer art in pottery, painting, photography, wire jewellery, weaving, fused glasswork, mixed media, textile art, bookmaking, printmaking, beading, and fibre arts (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, beadwork).
OUR ARTISTIC VALUES
Synergy and Support
At Kamloops Courthouse Gallery, we are a community of artists encouraging arts education by connecting artists with the community, and through mentorship, working side-by-side encouraging and inspiring each other in our artistic growth. This often leads to collaboration and a synergy that stimulates us to do our best work. We would love to have you visit.
