AUDREY MEUSE

Painter - Watercolour, Oil, Acrylic

Born in Prince Rupert, Audrey moved to Kamloops in 1980. Rooted in Acadian heritage, her upbringing was immersed in music and creativity. Audrey embarked on her artistic journey during her teens, joining her mom in porcelain painting. Her fascination with oil painting and portraits was instilled when she modelled for her uncle Lou Englehart, Canada's Historical Artist. Managing her own weaving studio in 2006 "Serenity Weaving", equipped with around 30 looms, she offered workshops and studio space. A significant contribution lies in designing and weaving the City of Kamloops Spirit Scarf, a symbolic gift for those involved in the 2010 Olympics.
